Hours are calculated from exact minutes; decimal hours are minutes ÷ 60. Overtime uses the general federal rule of 1.5× the regular rate for hours over 40 in a workweek (U.S. Department of Labor). Salary conversions use 2,080 hours per full-time year (40 × 52) unless you change hours or weeks. The federal minimum wage reference is $7.25/hour (DOL). All amounts are gross, before taxes.
